High on Life: Relaxation Techniques

Have you ever felt stressed out or full of anxiety that is overwhelming? If that's the case then it’s important you get in tune with how to relax and un-stress yourself immediately with these quick and easy relaxing techniques. With relaxation being the top priority, on your mind, you'll feel a slight absence in arousal, especially from negative inner or outer sources such as anger, anxiety, or fear. In other words with relaxation, you just let go while in a calming and u bothered way. That's exactly what I feel whenever I'm either in the garden or kickin'back with a nice pack of flowers watching anime after a hard day of work.



According to the Oxford Dictionary relaxation is when the body and mind are free from tension and anxiety.

There are plenty of ways to relax, especially after decarboxylating some potent flower, and since you're here I'll tell you a few ways I like to relax and unwind on my journey of living a healthy cannabis lifestyle. As an Oklahoma Medical Marijuana patient (or cannabis user in general) I tend to balance my medication out with some form of meditation. Cannabis (In which, I depend on terpene profile to achieve my desired outcome.) puts me in a relaxing state alone. It gets boring being the lonely stoner all the time, that's why I try to talk myself into including some form of exercise for my mind and body whether that's through meditation or physical activity after every session. Nobody likes a indacouch potato. That could be in the form of sitting in silence and counting my breath, taking a walk, writing in one of my many notebooks or listening to the latest song from the underground charts. There are so many ways that anybody can relax today that sometimes we as human beings waste away our day by doing so watching television or spending too much time on social media. I'm not judging nobody, I watch at least an episode of anime everyday (While relaxing.). You just have to know when enough is enough. I believe as cannabis patients, we have a leg up in stimulating our brains to improve the quality of life by being receptive to a relaxing state. You just have to aim for that quality of life you're looking for by doing the simple things you love. So, why not improve your well-being today. How does DeMillion Sensei relax and be high or enjoy a hobby while high on life? With a high note on relaxing! Other than watching anime, here's a few ways I, as a cannabis patient like to spend my relaxation time:

  • Roll it, Read it: Roll up a nice joint and enjoy one of your favorite books, Here a list of some of my favorite cannabis books.




1. This book will help you learn about whether your a gal or guy, it's a. Great, and easy to comprehend. Keep your eye out for the remedies for various ailments.


2. I recommend this book as an introduction and easy reading for quick info regarding CBD oil. And the knidle version is available for free!

3. This is a good reference book. It literally is a goldmine of cannabis information. That's all I'll say on that.

Cannabis for dummies is exactly... well not exactly for dummies but for people who are curious. I mean, none the less, it's very informative.

5. This book is like a guide to being a cool ass knowledgeable cannabis consumer. Really excellent read for the way the future is shaping in the cannabis industry for patients and consumers.


  • Meditated on Medicated: Find a quiet place, settle in for about 5 minutes and just inhale... Exhale, let your problems escape like the smoke from the lit one.


  • Level UP!: Not so physically active but gaming and medicated marijuana are companions, improve your focus and unlock new skills, levels, characters. You get it.



  • GO FISHING: During those nice summer days go and catch your dinner and some good vibes while out on the tranquil sounds of water flowing.


  • Runners High: Best way to calm your mind is exercise. Go for a walk or run and feel the runner's high flow. Medical Marijuana can be used to either get you started or recovery when you're done.



You might not relax in none of these ways, but that's o.k. we are all different in some way. Honestly, some of these are more of a self improvement thing for me, the thing is I feel good when I do it. I let go of all my problems and zone in on myself, maxxin' and relaxin'.
